2. Reminder: Assistants to the Director, Assistant Director, PSM, Designers, and ASMs are always called to production meetings. All others are welcome to attend as well.
3. Everyone should be signed on to the blog by now. If there is a problem with this, contact Dan Ruffley. Dan Osborne can also answer questions about the blog.
Set Painting (Rachel Kuhn)
1. Has been researching thoroughly and has a few questions regarding scenic props. Rachel will be contacting Properties Designer, Alex Gartner to collaborate on these ideas.
2. Goal is to be done paining before tech weekend.
3. Mr. Weddle will be communicating Mr. Turner to decide between projection and a painted backdrop. As soon as the decision is made, those whose work is affected will be contacted.
4. Rachel Kuhn is also working on the African masks and will keep us posted on progress.
Set Construction (Brandon Chapman)
1. At today’s meeting, Brandon asked Mr. Weddle and Drew Kemp-Baird specific questions involving set construction, most were resolved although communication will be continued to ensure excellence.
2. Brandon and his crew need fieldstone for their construction. Time will be set up for collected stone to be dropped off at AHS. Dan Ruffley will put this information on the blog and/or email everyone when this information becomes available.
3. Fireplace may be built “up”, almost like a brick-oven pizza oven.
4. The outside walls of the house are most likely going to be done through texturing by the set painting crew.
5. Plywood is okay for the outside of the house and Rachel’s work.
6. The platform should be built by Tuesday, January 8th.
7. The last planned day of set construction is January 26th.
8. Set Construction’s first call is Monday, January 7th from 7:00-9:30. Crew should meet at the scene dock and Dan Ruffley will email/call the crew members.
Properties (Alex Gartner)
1. Designer Alex Gartner was not present; Alli Turner (Assistant Designer) represented crew.
2. Props crew can be accessed through the AHS drama website, or by contacting Alex Gartner.
3. The “Marconi” radio is still needed. Lauren Heckman will be sending Mr. Weddle a picture of the one her family owns. If this is not what we are looking for, Mr. Weddle will contact Mrs. Hartman who will then begin working on finding what we need.
4. Ironing board can be removed from the properties list; we are using the kitchen table.
Lighting (Aaron Rice)
1. Carrie Rowe has lighting notes from blocking rehearsals for Aaron.
2. Aaron will be coordinating his schedule with Mr. Weddle, although Aaron will have to wait until set is almost done to do things such as the general washes.
3. Tech-Weekend will be used to fine-tune all lighting issues.
4. Mr. Weddle and Aaron will be working on improvements and some high tech lighting aspects.
5. Margie Lund has lighting notes from the dancing rehearsal.

Costumes (Kirstyn Blair)
1. Kirstyn has been working on sketches, however some confusion on character personalities. Allison Arnold will be meeting with Kirstyn to discuss character identities.
2. Mic packs should have spandex, fabric that works well with sweating and the top must be open for wires.
3. Footwear choices need to be a high priority so the cast members can get used to dancing in whatever shoes are chosen.
Make-Up and Hair (Jenny Abraham)
1. No one was present from this crew, although it was reported that Jenny has begun sketches, but is having some trouble with research. Jenny’s assistant designer, Meg Garttman has a book, that has many different techniques in it, so these two should be collaborating and working together.
